Four Point Tie Down

• Provides the safest chair securement as tested in crash situations
• All four belts are adjustable using a double action clamp
• Makes the Q'Straint the ultimate in restraint safety
• Lap belt attaches to the rear tie down belts
• Lap belt is adjustable and fits snugly like a typical car seat belt
• Prevents "submarining"
• Keeps the wheelchair from loading onto the occupant on impact
• Cannot be mounted in same row as stow-n-go-seating

Restraints that attach the lap belt directly to the floor or too close to the floor will lead to submarining and loading.

The shoulder belt from occupant to side wall ensures consistent upper body restraint and guarantees "foolproof" operator hook-up time after time. The shoulder belt assembly includes a mounting bolt to fit in your existing vehicle's shoulder belt mounting insert. If your vehicle does not have an existing shoulder belt assembly you will need to order our universal mounting kit part #Q5-6500A-5 which allows you to mount the shoulder belt assembly to the wall with a bracket and five sheet metal screws provided in the kit.
